Job summary

Triumph is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to own systems end to end—from design and manufacturing to test and deployment. You will shape mechanical architecture, constrain downstream decisions, and be in the Mountain View warehouse when hardware needs to be run, measured, and fixed as we relocate to Fremont, CA.

You have shipped physical products, strong CAD fluency, and hands-on test experience building fixtures and running measurements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and shipping mechanical hardware with production ownership.
• Strong fundamentals in structural analysis, materials selection, GD&T, tolerance stackups.
• Hands-on test experience building fixtures and performing measurements.
• Comfort in shop and field maintenance and repair work.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design for major subsystems, from requirements through release.
• Drive design for manufacturability and assembly, cost and lead-time tradeoffs.
• Build, instrument, and run test rigs; analyze data and implement design changes.
• Set CAD practices, part numbering, revision control, and test documentation.
• Partner with engineers on integration and cross-functional collaboration.
• Work in Fremont, CA warehouse on testing, bring-up, and hardware maintenance.
