Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years designing mechanical systems, drawings, or models.
• 2+ years product development, testing, or systems integration experience.
• 1+ years CAD modeling with mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, build, and install mechanical/electromechanical equipment for Navy platforms and defense systems.
• Create detailed mechanical designs, drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Support electronics packaging design, mechanical integration, and hardware development activities.
• Model, simulate, and analyze to support product development.
• Conduct environmental testing and support qualification activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to improve producibility and quality.
• Support installation planning, field deployment, and sustainment efforts.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and problem-solving activities.
• Assist in prototype development, testing, and validation.
