A leading facilities infrastructure provider is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide design and technical support for Department of Defense projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical engineering, an active PE license, and the ability to prepare engineering documents. The position requires travel and a background check, offering comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering.
• Active U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in producing engineered designs.

Responsibilities

• Provide design and technical support for facility control system projects.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and sequences of operation.
• Coordinate power and controls interfaces.

Skills

Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering experience

Active U.S. Professional Engineer license

Design documentation proficiency

Experience in project testing

Knowledge of applicable criteria and codes

Communication skills

Willingness to travel

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering
