Continental Tool Group is hiring a Mechanical / Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Corporate Engineering Team in Cranberry Township, PA. The role focuses on design and manufacturing of products across multiple lines, embracing a cradle-to-grave approach from design to delivery.

The position requires 5+ years in related fields, proficiency with 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Inventor) and strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Design for manufacturing of products.
• 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and 5+ years of related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products to meet specifications.
• Provide product specification support through reverse engineering and/or competitive research.
• Support production in translating specifications, updating drawings, and evaluating non-conformance issues.
• Support Quality Control in evaluating non-conformances and inspection processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement Corrective Actions.
• Develop fixtures for assembly, CNC and manual machines.
• Design and build test equipment for assembly and test processes.
• Create part and assembly drawings and instructions.
• Adapt to a dynamic multi-project environment.
