Job summary

Chemring Energetic Devices (CED) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Downers Grove, IL. You will own the design of military/aerospace devices through the product lifecycle, lead technical reviews, and drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams.

The role requires extensive Creo modeling, GD&T, FEA and simulations, with opportunities to lead SRR/PDR/CDR/PRR sessions and develop documentation for BOMs and SOWs.

Qualifications

• Experience with Creo 4.0 or higher and solid modeling.
• Experience generating ANSI Y14.5M drawings with GD&T.
• Experience with Matlab, Mathcad, Ansys for technical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create solid models using Creo 4.0 with Windchill.
• Generate detailed drawings per ANSI Y14.5M with GD&T.
• Perform engineering calculations using Matlab, Mathcad, Ansys.
