Jobot is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in California to lead the mechanical design from concept to permit issuance and construction documentation. This hands-on role requires coordinating HVAC systems, equipment sizing, and control strategies across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in commercial construction, a related Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit is preferred, along with knowledge of Carrier HAP, Trace 700, and Energy Pro. PE is a plus.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience in the commercial construction sector.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (Required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and installation standards.
• Familiar with California codes and local building code requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred.
• Proficient with Carrier HAP, Trace 700, Energy Pro or similar software.

• Technical Ownership: manage the mechanical design from concept through permit issuance and construction docs.
• Lead design execution: set design parameters, size equipment, define control strategies.
• System design and troubleshooting for air-side and water-side mechanical systems.
