Position Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in Consulting Engineering for our Charlotte, NC office. The role involves designing energy-efficient building systems and managing projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, client-focused, and involved in all project phases.

Desired Experience

• 10+ years as a mechanical engineer
• EIT or PE Certification
• Project Management experience
• Client interfacing skills
• Experience with cooling and heating plants
• MEP Design expertise
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and design HVAC and plumbing systems
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Participate in client and team meetings
• Guide staff on energy-efficient designs
• Review contractor submittals for conformance
• Apply engineering techniques and evaluate system designs
• Research customer proposals and specify system components
• Design mechanical products and evaluate systems
• Provide technical feedback and support
