Job summary

Advanced Technology Systems Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and integrate Counter-UAS systems, focusing on ruggedized hardware, precision mechanisms, and thermal management.

You will collaborate with electrical, RF, and systems teams, generate CAD models and documentation, oversee prototyping, testing, and field deployments, and ensure manufacturability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years in mechanical design, defense/aerospace/robotics.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo/CATIA).
• Experience with ruggedized hardware for military environments.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810/461.
• Experience in FEA, thermal, vibration analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components for C-UAS platforms including housings and mounts.
• Perform structural, thermal, and vibration analysis for demanding environments.
• Support integration of radar, RF, EO/IR, and countermeasure systems.
• Develop CAD models, drawings, and documentation.
• Oversee prototype fabrication and testing; troubleshoot issues.
• Interface with vendors to meet quality and cost targets.
