Bridgers & Paxton Consulting Engineers, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead projects from conceptual design through construction administration for laboratories, hospitals, manufacturing, educational and commercial facilities.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with multiple disciplines, perform site visits, develop designs in BIM, ensure codes compliance, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to a wide range of project types.

Competenze

• Minimum four-year college degree from an accredited engineering program.
• At least 7 years of mechanical engineering experience within a consulting or design-build firm.
• Professional Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE).
• Self-motivated with the ability to develop approaches to projects independently and perform detailed execution of electrical design.
• Communicates well verbally, in writing, and graphically with engineers, clients, and code authorities.
• Project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong personal ambition and work ethic.
• Strong knowledge of building, mechanical, plumbing, fire, energy conservation, and fuel gas codes.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA and related standards.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and other production software is a plus.
• Markets: Healthcare, Labs, Corporate Commercial, Educational facilities, and government.
