Crestron Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design across the full product development lifecycle for AV hardware.

The role collaborates with Hardware, Electrical, Firmware, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Management to deliver reliable, manufacturable, and cost-effective products. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 6–8 years in new product development for electronic or electromechanical products, AV/networking.
• Experience designing mechanical solutions for electronics packaging, thermal management, EMI-conscious enclosure design.
• Strong understanding of tolerance analysis, GD&T, DFM, DFA, and DFR.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling, preferably Creo.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design across full product development lifecycle.
• Create 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, BOMs, tolerances.
• Perform thermal, structural, vibration, and reliability analyses.
• Support prototyping, validation, and regulatory testing.
• Communicate design status and risks to cross-functional teams.
