Job summary

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to develop custom automation equipment and validate designs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least eight years of related experience, with proficiency in SolidWorks and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required).
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in related field.
• Demonstrated experience designing custom factory automation equipment and machinery.
• Advanced with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design from concept to production and deployment.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers on automation equipment.
• Create drawings, documents, and BOMs for fabrication and assembly of subsystems.
• Perform stress, thermal, and flow analyses and interpret results.
• Apply DFMA principles and perform tolerance analysis for assemblies.
