Job summary

Savoye North America designs and integrates supply chain solutions, delivering automated material handling systems for the warehouse industry. We seek a Mechanical Engineer III to join the Systems Integration team and drive concepting, design, and delivery for client projects.

The role focuses on engineering design, system integration, and collaboration with vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure successful installations and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 6+ years of experience in automated material handling and full system integration
• Experience with selection and integration of automated equipment such as conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, scanners, sorters, ASRS, and packaging equipment
• Strong CAD skills and MS Office proficiency
• Solid understanding of engineering principles (Statics, Dynamics, GD&T)
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently and in teams
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for sales support, design, and installation

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver automated material handling solutions meeting customer objectives
• Lead multiple projects and collaborate with vendors and customers
• Attend and lead technical discussions with customers
• Create material flow diagrams and specify equipment per application
• Prepare drawings, installation plans, and commissioning docs
• Guide junior engineers and mentor teammates
• Travel for site visits, design reviews, and installations to support projects
