Job summary

Keenfinity in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and validation of headsets, professional audio and critical communications hardware from concept to production.

The role requires 7+ years in product design, expertise in injection-molded enclosures, SolidWorks, GD&T, and experience with UL and FAA certifications, plus strong collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of product design experience.
• Experience with injection-molded enclosures, sheet metal, and electro-mechanical devices.
• Proficient in SolidWorks; knowledge of Pro/E and AutoCAD is a plus.
• Experience with 3D modeling and interference checking (IDF).
• Familiar with UL safety certifications and FAA aviation approvals.
• Strong MS Office skills; capable of virtual and physical prototyping.
• Knowledge of GD&T and design tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical design, development, and validation from concept to production.
• Create assembly, customer, production, and detail mechanical drawings.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines to define requirements and implement designs on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain BOMs and assembly drawings.
• Support regulatory certification efforts including FAA/UL compliance.
