Job summary

Gentex Corporation in Manchester, NH is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to design and support noise-attenuating headsets, microphones, earplugs, and communications systems. You will lead detailed circuit design, create PCB data packages, and mentor other engineers in the SAVS division.

Qualifications

• B.S. E.E. or equivalent with 5+ years of electrical design experience
• 3+ years with MSEE
• Experience in reducing cost and improving manufacturability

Responsibilities

• Design, schematic capture and layout of electronic circuits (power, digital, embedded, analog)
• Create engineering release data packages for PCB and system assemblies
• Develop system block diagrams and schematics for documentation
• Create test plans and validate engineering reports
• Support testing processes and equipment in production
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and technicians on new product development
• Assist with transition from design to manufacturing and provide logistics support
• Report project status and deviations from baseline
• Review designs to improve reliability and testability
• Participate in cost estimation and cost control for new projects
