Job summary

Canvas II, LLC. seeks a senior mechanical engineer to support the asset management program and facility projects at Eglin AFB. You will collaborate with government engineers, review construction docs, and provide advisory engineering support to teams, ensuring data integrity in BUILDER and NexGen.

The role requires an advanced degree and 8–12+ years of related experience, with an active clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance. On-site work at Eglin AFB is expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on asset management.
• Experience supporting government or defense facility projects.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Government Engineer with Asset Management Plan development and management.
• Support technical reviews of design and construction documents.
• Provide consulting and project coordination for facility/infrastructure projects.
• Deliver advisory mechanical engineering support to government and contractor teams.
• Input and manage data in asset data programs such as BUILDER and NexGen.
• Lead or support project planning with goals, timelines, and resources.
