engineeringjobs.net, Inc. is seeking a lead mechanical and thermal design engineer to drive the development, simulation, validation, and manufacturing integration of Static Transfer Switches and Power Distribution Units.

You will support testing and certification, push for design improvements, and lead root-cause analysis while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to design reviews. The role requires strong proficiency in 3D CAD, FEA/CFD, and a background in electromechanical assemblies

Qualifications

• Requires at least five years of mechanical design and simulation experience with electromechanical systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and expertise in FEA and CFD.
• Mechanical engineering degree; experience with sheet metal and electromechanical assemblies; thermal and vibration testing; PE license and PhD preferred.
