Job summary

TRG Growth Practice is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a technically focused special projects team in the United States. The role centers on designing, building, and scaling advanced manufacturing equipment and automation systems, with hands-on involvement from concept through installation.

You’ll work on in-house developed machinery, from large-scale structures to material handling and tooling, contributing deep mechanical expertise to optimize performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Significant hands-on mechanical engineering experience with large-scale machinery, equipment, or manufacturing systems.
• Strong machine design experience with the ability to design and develop solutions using CAD.
• Understanding of mechanical systems such as gearboxes, bearings, motors, power transmission, vibration, and rotating equipment.
• Ability to work from concept through design, fabrication, integration, installation, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale advanced manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
• Develop equipment in-house from the ground up, including large mechanical structures and tooling.
• Take concepts through design, fabrication, integration, installation, and troubleshooting.
