Job summary

TRG Growth Practice is partnering with a privately held, rapidly growing advanced manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a highly technical special projects team. The role focuses on designing, building, and scaling impressive manufacturing equipment and automation systems.

You will work on in-house equipment development from ground up, including large-scale structures, automation, controls integration, and tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Significant hands-on mechanical engineering experience with large-scale machinery, equipment, or manufacturing systems.
• Strong machine design experience with the ability to design and develop solutions using CAD.
• Understanding of mechanical systems such as gearboxes, bearings, motors, power transmission, vibration, and rotating equipment.
• Ability to work from concept through design, fabrication, integration, installation, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale advanced manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
• Develop equipment in-house from ground up, including large-scale mechanical structures and precision machining systems.
• Support expansion of automated machining operations across multiple facilities and optimize performance.
