Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary engineering initiatives remotely on a contract basis. The role emphasizes mechanical design, validation through testing, and delivering clear design criteria and measurable acceptance metrics.

You will translate objectives into actionable requirements, coordinate domain experts, and drive projects from concept to manufacturing readiness with rigorous verification and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Substantial professional experience as a Chief Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer, or in a comparable technical leadership role.
• Proven experience leading complex engineering projects involving multiple technical disciplines.
• Strong expertise in mechanical design and analysis, design for manufacture and assembly, and technical verification through testing and root-cause analysis.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Experience with CAD, finite element analysis, or other relevant engineering simulation tools.
