Echodyne Corp is hiring a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our fast-growing team in the United States. You will design electro‑mechanical products, focusing on thermal, electrical and environmental aspects, and collaborate with RF, microwave, digital and antenna teams to achieve production-ready solutions.

Ideal candidates have strong SolidWorks skills, GD&T expertise, and experience with thermal/modal analysis, PCB packaging, and manufacturing processes for HP-level radar modules.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience; export-controlled data eligibility.
• Deep understanding of thermal, electrical and environmental considerations in electro‑mechanical products.
• Experience advising RF/microwave and antenna teams on mechanical constraints and production solutions.
• Advanced to expert SolidWorks skills; familiarity with GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Hands-on modal, stress and thermal analysis experience.

Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).Echodyne is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our fast-growing team.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• Senior-engineer level experience in mechanical engineering design for electro-mechanical products, with deep understanding of thermal, electrical, and environmental considerations.
• Knowledge of the mechanical considerations of PCB design and PCB packaging.
• Ability to advise RF, Microwave, Digital & Antenna engineering teams on constraints (mechanical, environmental, thermal) & work to a production solution.
• Advanced-to-expert level user of Solidworks.
• Knowledge in implementing, interpreting and explaining ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
• Knowledge in hand and computational analysis for modal, stress and thermal considerations.

DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE(Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)

• Proficient experience in ANSYS/similar analysis software for thermal and structural computational analyses.
• Experience leading the mechanical design of RF or millimeter-wave transmit/receive modules, or equivalent PWA-based transceivers, at x-band or above through qualification & product launch.
• Certified in ASME Y14.5 GD&TExperience designing and certifying products for IP rating requirements.
• Knowledge of various production processes and ability to tailor design to those processes to meet design to cost objectives.
• Relationships with local fabrication shops.
• Knowledge and/or experience with design approaches for RF isolation requirements.

The expected annual salary range for this role is$124,733—$187,048 USD
