Job summary

simplehuman seeks an accomplished Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the end-to-end development of high-volume consumer electronics from concept to mass production. You will define mechanical architecture, manage technical risk, and work closely with global suppliers and tooling partners to ensure reliability.

You will own design optimization, drive GD&T, and oversee integration of electromechanical systems across platform generations with a focus on quality, manufacturability, and cost

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of experience in high-volume consumer electronics.
• Deep proficiency in 3D CAD (Creo preferred) and extensive knowledge of injection molding, GD&T, and electromechanical system integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end mechanical development of complex consumer electronics from concept through mass production.
• Define mechanical architecture and manage technical risks.
• Collaborate with global suppliers and tooling partners to ensure product reliability.
• Drive design for manufacturability, GD&T, and robust system integration.
• Oversee continuous improvement post-launch and support cost optimization.
