Job summary

Acro Service Corp in Minnesota is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to research, plan, analyze, design, and develop mechanical products for defense applications, including ammunition handling systems, missile launchers, gun systems, and structures.

You will create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using PTC Creo, and interpret specifications to ensure compliance with military standards and product requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in PTC Creo for 3D modeling and drawing generation.
• Experience designing mechanical components and assemblies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and collaboration with fabrication/machine shops.
• Strong engineering analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Research, plan, analyze, design, and develop mechanical products including ammunition handling systems, missile launchers, gun systems, structures, mechanisms, and other defense-related equipment. Perform engineering analysis, testing, and evaluation of moderately complex mechanical systems using specialized engineering tools and software. Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using PTC Creo Parametric 11. Interpret design specifications, drawings, models, and test results to ensure compliance with engineering standards, military specifications, and product requirements. Prepare technical documentation, support manufacturing activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to project planning while working in a hybrid environment.
