Job summary

Alumni Founders is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design and implement pressure components for launch vehicle fluid and propulsion systems.

You will perform trade studies, detailed thermal and structural analyses, and qualification testing to ensure reliability and safety of critical components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in fluid system component design required.
• Proficiency with CAD tools: NX, CREO, Solidworks required.
• Experience with analysis software: ANSYS, FEMAP required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fluid and pressure components for launch vehicle systems.
• Conduct trade studies to optimize performance and weight.
• Perform thermal and structural analyses to validate designs.
• Execute qualification tests to verify component reliability and safety.
