Job summary

Alumni Founders in Redondo Beach, CA, seeks a senior aerospace structural design engineer to own the complete lifecycle from design to integration for flight hardware. You will lead analysis, build, test, and qualification campaigns to ensure flightworthiness.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of aerospace structural hardware design experience, with strong background in material failure modes and sizing calculations.

Own the full lifecycle of design, analysis, build, test, and integration for pressurized and unpressurized flight hardware. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative structures and ensure flightworthiness through qualification campaigns.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience designing aerospace structural hardware. Must possess strong knowledge of material failure modes, structural sizing calculations, and various manufacturing processes.
