This role is responsible for designing, developing, and improving complex mechanical systems and subsystems for custom MOCVD equipment, including structural components, fluid and gas handling, thermal management, and motion assemblies. Day-to-day activities include creating detailed CAD models and drawings, performing engineering calculations and analysis, supporting prototype builds, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in equipment engineering, controls, and process development. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will contribute to R&D efforts, participate in design reviews, manage technical aspects of projects, and support manufacturing and field teams with design clarification and continuous improvement.
