General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a Mechanical Draftsman/Sr. Draftsman in Groton, CT. The role focuses on producing design deliverables from sketches and concepts to support manufacture, assembly and test, while leveraging CAD tools and GD&T knowledge.

The candidate should read blueprints, work in a collaborative team, and apply manufacturing processes and design standards to ensure precision and quality in defense-focused projects.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 2–6 years of design experience in a drafting environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Experience with CAD systems (NX preferred).
• Familiarity with GD&T and drafting standards.
