Job summary

ProSource Group in New York State is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Drafter for a role based in Southern Westchester. You will produce and coordinate mechanical drawings for commercial, public and institutional projects, with emphasis on HVAC systems.

You will rely on Revit and AutoCAD to develop robust drawings, work with Project Managers, Engineers and field teams, and ensure designs reflect site conditions and changes across multiple projects in NYC, Long Island and Westchester.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Mechanical/HVAC drafting.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience on commercial mechanical construction projects.
• Good knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, ventilation and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating and updating drawings throughout project delivery.

• Commercial HVAC / Mechanical Construction

Role Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Mechanical Drafter on behalf of an established Mechanical/HVAC Contractor working on projects across NYC. The role will be based out of their office in Southern Westchester, NY.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and coordinating mechanical drawings across a range of commercial, public and institutional projects.

Candidates should have strong experience using Revit and AutoCAD within mechanical construction, with a good understanding of HVAC systems including boilers, chillers, piping and ventilation.

Projects vary in size and scope, with work ranging into the millions ($) across commercial buildings, schools, airports, infrastructure and other large-scale facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing and updating mechanical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Preparing drawings for HVAC systems, piping, ventilation and mechanical equipment.
