Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineering Designer to join our Architecture and Engineering team. You will design and draft mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, fire protection, fuel) and coordinate with multiple engineering and architectural disciplines on multi-site projects.

You’ll produce construction documents and support client requirements and codes. The role is remote or hybrid (1–2 days in an office) with headquarters and offices in Bentonville, AR,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in general building mechanical design production for commercial projects.
• EIT is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design tasks and reports under the direction of Project Engineers and Project Managers.
• Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations and generate reports/recommendations.
• Assist in maintaining task budgets.
• Coordinate and assist with addenda, RFIs and change orders.
• Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team through design development and contract documents.
• Assist senior staff with the project approval process.
• Other related responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the objectives of this role.
