Ahern, a long-established mechanical and fire protection contractor based in Fond du Lac, WI, is seeking a Senior Designer. You’ll model complex piping/plumbing systems, develop drawings, calculations, and BOMs, and lead a design team to ensure project readiness.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience designing mechanical piping and/or plumbing systems.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Design, Civil Engineering, CAD, or related field.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud(Forma).
• Strong understanding of commercial/industrial building construction and Wisconsin plumbing code.
• Ability to manage a design team’s schedule and lead coordination efforts.
