Job summary

CACI is seeking an experienced designer/drafter to develop tooling and flight hardware within an integrated product team. The role involves autonomous work on space and non-space programs, delivering milestone documents and engineering packages.

You will use PTC Creo for solid modeling and PDMlink for data management, ensuring manufacturability and cost efficiency while collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience performing FEA and engineering simulations.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and tolerancing.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and Creo workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design on multiple projects through all lifecycle phases.
• Create part models, assemblies, drawings, and BOMs using PTC Creo and PDMlink.
• Implement requirements and drive cost reduction in designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to enable DFM in design work.
• Prepare status reports, participate in reviews, and coordinate with engineers.
