Qualifications

• Associates degree in Mechanical Drafting or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, metal and plastic working, or related engineering fields.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling, 2D drawings, and 3D routing.
• Experience with CNC machines, including G Code generation from 2D drawings.
• Knowledge of sheet metal design and electronics wire routing.

Responsibilities

• Work with mechanical and electrical engineers to design and fabricate subsystems attached to OEM vehicles.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks for machining and fabrication processes.
• Assist in assembly and installation of designed components on vehicle platforms.
• Participate in shop fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of shop equipment.
• Ensure product testing certification and readiness for quality assurance and testing departments.

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Technician

Location: Logan, Utah (Onsite)

Pay Range: $48 - $50/hr on W2

What's the Job?
