Job summary

Audubon Corporate Careers is seeking a senior mechanical engineer in Houston to lead multi-discipline piping and process design. You will prepare specifications, calculations, and vendor reviews for complex projects, and interface with clients, vendors and sub-consultants to ensure deliverables meet schedule and budget.

The role requires 12+ years experience, field exposure, and strong knowledge of ASME/API codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• ABET accreditation preferred.
• Mechanical Engineering background preferred.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Field experience required.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare intermediate to advanced level specifications detailing client requirements, designs and codes.
• Prepare sketches, perform calculations and develop analysis models for complex projects.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors and vendors.
• Manage projects to meet schedule and budget.
