Actalent in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer/Engineer to design mechanical systems in Revit for a range of projects and lead load calculations using industry tools. This position involves weekly site visits to verify conditions and support project goals.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of building design experience, proficiency in Revit, and experience performing load calculations with Trane Trace or Carrier HAP. AutoCAD proficiency and security checks are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 10 years of experience in building design, proficiency in Revit, and experience performing load calculations with Trane Trace or Carrier HAP.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Design is preferred but not required; AutoCAD proficiency and the ability to pass federal drug and background checks are noted.
• AutoCAD proficiency and ability to pass federal drug and background checks.

Responsabilités

• Design mechanical systems in Revit for commercial, infrastructure, government, education, healthcare, and laboratory projects.
• Perform load calculations using Trane Trace or Carrier HAP.
• Conduct approximately weekly site visits to assess existing conditions and collaborate with project teams to meet project requirements.
