Job summary

The role combines hands-on prototyping with cross-functional collaboration to ensure manufacturable and scalable designs. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), and knowledge of GD&T and tolerancing.

Qualifications

• Expertise in 3D CAD modeling and detailed mechanical drawings.
• Experience with GD&T, tolerancing, and manufacturability considerations.
• Hands-on in lab/prototype build, testing, and validation.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and release detailed mechanical designs for precision components and fixtures.
• Assemble, inspect, and troubleshoot prototype hardware during development and release phases.
• Perform tolerance analyses and design reviews to ensure manufacturability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D to resolve issues in field and production.
• Translate requirements into robust mechanical design solutions and improve templates and workflows.
