Framatome-North-America is seeking a Component Owner (mechanical design engineer) to design and engineer components used in Framatome's nuclear fuel assemblies. Lead design control from development to manufacturing and QA, producing drawings, specifications, and parts lists while collaborating with suppliers and production teams.

The role emphasizes GD&T, testing, and regulatory awareness, with opportunities to develop new designs and support future fuel product lines.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related fields may be accepted).
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Strong communication and ability to convey detailed technical data.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Initiate and maintain product drawings and specifications.
• Use GD&T to define design tolerances.
• Resolve component and fabrication concerns with suppliers.
• Monitor component manufacturing and address issues with production teams.
• Develop and qualify new mechanical designs for future fuel lines.
• Support design testing by setting requirements, methods, tests and reports.
• Perform standard engineering tasks in design, development and quality assurance.
• Maintain awareness of government and industry standards.
