Interface Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II/III (MEP) for Portland. The role leads HVAC design across multiple projects, overseeing staff and performing analyses, calculations, and specifications.

You will contribute to construction administration and site observations while delivering exceptional service to clients. The position offers a hybrid work model (at least 2 days in-office) within a people-first, employee-owned firm that values collaboration, growth, and social

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent required.
• 3+ years MEP/AEC design and consulting experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems in public safety, educational, and commercial sectors.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
• Experience interacting with clients in meetings or presentations.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of HVAC drawings, analysis, specifications, and calculations.
• Provide oversight of HVAC support staff.
• Provide construction administration & site observations related to projects.
• Provide exemplary service to team members and clients.
