Job summary

Frankfurt-Short-Bruza Associates, P.C. is seeking Mechanical Engineers to join its Oklahoma City team. The role focuses on designing and documenting MEP systems, with emphasis on HVAC, plumbing, building automation, and energy modeling.

You will produce Revit models and construction documents for diverse facilities. Ideal candidates have PE licensure pursuit, 5+ to 10+ years of experience, and strong coordination with architects and other engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with PE licensure path.
• 10+ years of progressive experience leading design efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design and document MEP mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, building automation, and temperature controls.
• Produce Revit models, construction documents, drawings, specifications, diagrams, 3D models, and reports.
• Perform mechanical engineering calculations including load analysis, energy modeling, ventilation, equipment sizing, and system selection.
• Apply building codes, ASHRAE standards, and industry guidelines to ensure compliant solutions.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and team coordination.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal teams to deliver integrated outcomes.
• Support QA/QC, construction administration, submittal reviews, RFIs, field observations, and coordination with contractors and owners.
• Lead project documentation and mentor junior staff (mid- and senior-level roles).
