You will own components from concept through production, creating CAD models, drawings, and BOMs while collaborating with thermal engineers and suppliers to optimize manufacturability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience with ownership from concept to production.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD and production drawing development (Creo or SolidWorks).
• Solid understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, materials, and design for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept generation and detailed mechanical design of liquid cooling components for high-speed I/O and AI infrastructure.
• Create 3D CAD models, drawings, GD&T, tolerancing analyses, and BOMs.
• Develop robust designs addressing fit, flatness, stiffness, sealing, assembly, and serviceability.
• Collaborate with thermal engineers to translate thermal-fluid requirements into mechanical designs.
• Work with manufacturing and suppliers to improve manufacturability and resolve design challenges.
• Own development activities from concept through qualification and production release.
• Maintain documentation and communicate progress and tradeoffs clearly.
• Serve as mechanical interface for customers with support from thermal specialists.
