Job summary

MBC Aerosol is seeking a Senior Mechanical Machine Design Engineer to lead design through all stages of industrial automation projects. Responsibilities include 3D modeling in SolidWorks, releasing designs via ERP, and collaborating with engineers, sales, and the service team to ensure high-quality customer solutions.

Requirements include a Mechanical Engineering degree (or 5+ years in automation) and strong knowledge of packaging machinery, with travel under 5% and rigorous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years designing automated machinery.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D CAD, drawings, and release.
• Experience with automated packaging machinery and industry safety practices.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, coordination and problem solving.
• Occasional travel (<5%) and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical machine design using SolidWorks to create 3D models and drawings of Aerosol machinery.
• Research new materials and concepts for current and future designs.
• Cradle-to-grave mechanical machinery design and documentation.
• Maintain and release designs using ERP; organize records.
• Collaborate with other engineers and sales to meet schedule and budget.
• Support customers and service team on technical matters as needed.
• Assist service department with technical queries; ensure safety compliance.
