John Galt Staffing is seeking an experienced Mechanical / Hot Cell Engineer to join our Nuclear Services & Technology division. You will work with engineers and designers to design prototype equipment, gloveboxes, hot cells, and remotely operated handling mechanisms for specialized research equipment and processes.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and proficiency with Creo/SolidWorks/Revit, Mathcad, and a PE license.

Qualificações

• BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum eight (8) years of engineering experience.
• Experience with design of custom equipment/containment systems and related fabrication documentation.
• Experience with Creo, SolidWorks or Revit.
• Familiarity with Mathcad or equivalent calculation software.
• P.E. license.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• US Citizenship.

Responsabilidades

• Design containment systems (gloveboxes, containment hoods) and material handling systems.
• Develop fabrication drawings, specifications, datasheets, procurement specs and calculations.
• Independently plan and execute mechanical design tasks within schedule and budget.
• Follow QA/QC procedures and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Provide shop support during fabrication and testing.
