Qualifications

• 15+ years of dedicated experience in industrial machinery and equipment design.
• 3+ years of experience designing aluminum extrusion presses and handling equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proficient in 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural/stress analysis.
• Strong hydraulics knowledge for design and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of industrial electrical systems and components.
• Able to work independently and in teams.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Design complex extrusion presses and related equipment using 3D modeling.
• Reverse engineer existing machinery for repairs and optimization.
• Collaborate with field services to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Coordinate installation and integration of machinery at client sites.
• Schedule shop floor production to optimize workflow for machinists.
• Plan and coordinate new extrusion machinery implementations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues while coordinating with teammates.
• Serve as main technical contact for engineering services.
• Manage project timelines to meet customer requirements and capacity.
