Critical Facility Group is a remote-first firm dedicated to data center design and mission-critical facilities. We seek a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design on CRAC systems, telecom cooling, chilled water, and reliability standards, taking ownership from calculations to construction administration.
You will design in Revit and AutoCAD, mentor junior staff, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure schedules and quality meet project requirements for high-availability environments.
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Critical Facility Group, you'll lead mechanical design for data centers and other mission-critical facilities — from engineering calculations and studies through construction documents and construction administration.
You'll be someone who can run design work independently, coordinate across disciplines, and take real responsibility for what gets designed and built.
This role fits an experienced mechanical engineer who's ready to lead design work on data center and mission-critical projects — CRAC systems, telecom cooling, chilled water, and the reliability standards these facilities demand — not execute someone else's drawings.
We're a remote-first team, and the people on it bring years of experience in data center design, construction, and operations — even though CFG itself is only a few years old. This role is a chance to bring real seniority into a growing technical team, sharing ownership of complex projects rather than shouldering them alone.
Critical Facility Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.
