Schneider Electric Corp in the United States is seeking an experienced engineer to lead data center solutions that are repeatable and customized. You will guide projects, collaborate with peers beyond your team, and optimize customer layouts to meet requirements.

The role emphasizes developing new and existing customized solutions, supporting quotations, and working with manufacturing facilities. Travel is minimal, and a bachelor’s in mechanical/electro-mechanical engineering is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Schneider Electric in an engineering role.
• Experience and product knowledge with Masterclad, SureSeT, PremSeT, GHA, CBGS-0, DVCAS, HVL, HVL/cc
• 4 year bachelor degree with emphasis on mechanical or electro-mechanical
• Minimal travel, up to 10%
• Good work ethic and able to perform with minimal supervision at times (remain productive)
• Highly Collaborative
• Demonstrate ability to lead projects by:
• Work well with peers outside of immediate team and foster cooperation
• Drive results
• Identify obstacles, define options and navigate to acceptable results
• Proficiency in CREO 3D Modeling as well as SEEXP is required
• Familiarity of manufacturing BOM’s
• Familiarity with design documentation processes including but not limited to DFMEA, AFMEA, FTA, Design Reviews, PPAP,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools
• Knowledge of any of Schneider's plethora of other processes is a plus. These include; SAP, CODA, ACE, Autocad, TalentLink, etc.
• Analytical skills in strength analysis are also required for this position.

Responsabilités

• Lead projects for creating repeatable, customized solutions within the Data Center Solutions Custom Engineering Team.
• Act as a primary owner and provide first line support for new opportunities, answering questions and optimizing customer layouts.
• Develop knowledge on new and existing customized solutions to meet customer needs and opportunities.
• Lend support to the quotations team and field offices for opportunities that can utilize customized solutions.
