Job summary

Pow.bio is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design and deliver attitude control systems for hypersonic strike vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering with over 5 years of aerospace design experience. Responsibilities include developing propellant tanks and valves, performing structural analyses, and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace or high-performance fluid/propulsion systems.
• Strong background in pressure vessel design and high-pressure component integration.
• Familiarity with sealing methods and cleanliness requirements for high-reliability fluid systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ACS hardware, including propellant tanks and valves.
• Lead the architecture and detailed design of pressure vessels.
• Perform structural and thermal analyses to ensure performance and reliability.
