Employment Solutions is partnering with a successful aerospace manufacturing company to hire a Senior Design Engineer with extensive experience in Aerospace and Defense Engineering to work in Endicott, NY. This is a direct hire full-time position with outstanding benefits!

Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solve complex engineering problems
• Lead the design and development of aerospace and defense systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define design requirements
• Perform design calculations, analysis, and simulations to ensure the functionality, safety, and durability of products.
• Manage and review design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test plans.
• Oversee the prototyping and testing phases

REQUIREMENTS

• BS Degree or Master’s in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in design engineering, preferably within aerospace and defense sectors.
• Expertise in mechanical design, analysis, and testing for aerospace or defense applications.
• Proficiency with design and analysis tools (e.g., CAD software, FEA, simulation tools)
• Experience with brazing or advanced manufacturing techniques preferred
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense regulations and best practices
• Familiarity with materials science and selection processes for aerospace applications
