The Mechanical Products Team (MPT), Shipboard Effectors Department, is seeking Mechanical Engineers for our Louisville, KY site in both development and production support across multiple programs.
The Mechanical Engineering position performs aligned expectations across design, development, and production support, encompassing mechanical designs, validation principles, qualification processes, procurement, and production processes across the design life cycle. Development work may include requirements understanding, concept development, DFMAs, PFMAs, margin analysis, technical data package (TDP) development, application of GD&T principals, engineering test principals, preparation of technical analysis reports, and presentation in design reviews.
Hiring will be on an onsite basis. Employees in onsite roles will work primarily onsite, including all production and maintenance employees who are essential to the development of our products.
