Job summary

Copia Search represents several clients in the Los Angeles area who are creating exciting technology within advanced manufacturing and robotics. They are seeking Senior Mechanical Engineers with strong hands-on mechanical design experience to lead complex projects.

Ideal backgrounds include 3D printing, capital equipment, and electromechanical systems, plus experience guiding hardware from prototyping to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering / product development experience
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
• Proven experience designing complex mechanical systems and assemblies from the ground up
• Experience with robotics, automation, 3D printing, capital equipment, or complex electromechanical systems
• Understanding of motion systems, mechanisms, kinematics, and/or precision mechanical design
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing processes
• Experience taking designs through prototyping, testing, iteration, and production
• Ability to work closely with electrical, controls, software, manufacturing, and other cross-functional engineering teams

I am representing several clients in the La county area who are creating exciting technology within advanced manufacturing and robotics. They are looking to hire Senior Mechanical Engineers with strong, hands‑on mechanical design experience.

• Capital equipment
• Complex electromechanical systems
• Motion control / kinematics

They are particularly interested in engineers who have designed complex mechanical systems from the ground up and taken hardware through development, prototyping, testing, and production.

• Up to $200K salary + Equity, depending on experience
