Job summary

MASS Tech LLC in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to drive mechanical product design, rationalization, prototyping, validation, and cost optimization. You will coordinate across cross-functional and offshore teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable solutions.

The role requires Creo/Pro/ENGINEER and SolidWorks expertise, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and experience in machining, molding, casting, or sheet-metal design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Five or more years of mechanical product-design and development experience.
• Strong experience with Creo or Pro/ENGINEER and SolidWorks.
• Experience creating manufacturing drawings and applying GD&T.
• Knowledge of tolerance analysis, FEA, and design-to-cost principles.
• Experience with machining, injection molding, casting, or sheet-metal design.
• Experience with SolidWorks PDM or a similar PLM system is preferred.
• Knowledge of DFx, FMEA, DOE, or root-cause analysis is a plus.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
