Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Solar Enclosures - Fremont, CA

I'm looking for a talented Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join my client in Fremont, CA.

This person will work cross-functionally to ensure the integration of mechanical designs with other subsystems, lead the entire product development lifecycle for their projects, and generate detailed designs for mechanical parts & subsystems.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering & 7+ years of mechanical design/product design experience, preferably in the Solar/Renewables industry.
• Expert knowledge of SolidWorks & strong understanding of GD&T
• Demonstrated experience with DFM/DFA & strong understanding of manufacturing processes for high-volume manufacturing
• High familiarity with power electronics enclosures, particularly regarding thermal management & ingress protection
