Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in HVAC design, project coordination, and construction documentation. Base Pay Range
$90,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support mechanical project design from conceptual phase through construction documentation for small to mid‑sized projects.
- Prepare HVAC layouts, equipment selections, and duct/piping systems aligned with building codes, energy standards, and LEED requirements.
- Perform detailed load calculations, energy modeling, and economic analyses.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Project Management, Construction, Controls, etc.) and external partners to ensure coordinated, buildable designs.
- Conduct field engineering during project execution — including coordination, troubleshooting, and document management.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of design drawings and Revit/CAD models.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management required.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred but not required.
- Minimum 3+ years of mechanical design experience within a design/build or consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, Title 24, energy compliance, and mechanical codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and common engineering tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
